Inside MountThe blind is mounted inside the window frame; offers a tailored look, emphasizing the actual size of the window. Any deductions will be made by the manufacturer. Window casing should at least meet the minimum depth required to accommodate the brackets, or the flush mount depth to have the headrail fully recessed in the casing. When selecting your size, enter the actual dimensions of your window casing. |

Outside MountThe blind is mounted on the wall or molding outside the window frame to cover an area larger than the window itself. Outside mounted blinds are required if the window casing is not deep enough to accommodate the mounting brackets for an inside mount. When selecting your size, enter the desired size of the blind itself - at least 1 1/2" of overlap on each side is recommended. |

This is a great company and we'll be returning again and again. We are doing an overhaul on several rooms and so far have ordered these blinds in different designs for every room. On some we have ordered room darkening backing and on others light filtering. Both work very well.
I have used three different designs and love them all. Be sure to order samples. I tape mine up on the windows and observe them in all different lights during the day and night. Customer service is great here, my husband got some very good tips on installing by phone. They really work with you in every way. Highly recommended.

I had 7 extra wide (non/standard) windows to cover and received quotes that were in excess of $5K. Through Shades Shutters and Blinds I was able to complete my project for far less than half that price! I was initially hesitate to purchase Wovenwoods through a website, but gave it a chance and boy am I glad I did! The quality is great as is the construction. Easy to install as well. I will order blinds again in the near future to complete other rooms.

I remember high quality matchstick blinds from the 60's (when I was a kid). After I bought a mid/century house on the bay north of San Francisco, I began searching for blinds that would do the house justice. I took a chance on mirabella tan shades / and it really paid off. The construction is top/of/the/line / you cannot get better. The standard mechanism is well designed and constructed and looks beautiful, too. And the shades themselves perform beautifully. You can see through them, even at night, but they filter out most of the sunlight, keeping the room cool and ensuring privacy. You will not be unhappy with your order.
