The R-Value is how much energy efficiency your blinds has for blocking out the heat and cold. For this product (when closed) the R- Value is Decent. If you add a backing, it is Excellent.

The size and shape of slats and reeds affect their spacing. Color variations in some woven shades materials will continue to change over time. Rio bamboo window blinds filter rather than block the light. They do provide daytime privacy. For added privacy at night, we recommend adding a liner.
