(PVC) Blinds (Click here for colors and pricing)
The first type of vinyl blind is the straight horizontal faux wood (pvc) blind. It is made of 100% polymers. They are typically available in the 2"
or 2 1/2" flat slat. They are extremely popular because of the look and the price. The most important thing to look for on this product is how many hours the material can handle sun exposure. Most of the cut down found in the big box stores have around 500-800 hours of exposure tested. These blind are good for around 3 years and typically come with no warranty. The custom made ones usually have 1200 hours plus and contain a lifetime warranty against warpage and discoloration. 2" vinyl blinds are an affordable and attractive window treatment.
Composite Blinds (Click here for colors and pricing)
The second type of vinyl blind is made of a composite material. It is typically 15% lighter than the straight vinyl horizontal blind and comes in much richer colors. It is typically around 35% more in price and not available as a cut down like the fauxwood found in most box stores. The
2 faux wood blinds have a wood and vinyl mixture with a poly coating on top. The slats are thicker and more durable to the elements. Most composite blinds come with a lifetime warranty.

large windows make this a very popular product. The vertical comes on a
