Inside MountThe blind is mounted inside the window frame; offers a tailored look, emphasizing the actual size of the window. Any deductions will be made by the manufacturer. Window casing should at least meet the minimum depth required to accommodate the brackets, or the flush mount depth to have the headrail fully recessed in the casing. When selecting your size, enter the actual dimensions of your window casing. | |

Outside MountThe blind is mounted on the wall or molding outside the window frame to cover an area larger than the window itself. Outside mounted blinds are required if the window casing is not deep enough to accommodate the mounting brackets for an inside mount. When selecting your size, enter the desired size of the blind itself - at least 1 1/2" of overlap on each side is recommended. | |

Detailed Description for Fabric Vertical Blinds
Fabric Vertical Blinds add a touch of class to any room, without being too imposing. These blinds consist of vertical vanes of fabric and while usually built to let in light, they can also be ordered in blackout fabric which fully darkens a room. They are fully customizable, with numerous optional features that make them perfect for anything from casual to formal decor.
Fabric Vertical Blinds have an option for an inside mount, which means that the blinds are situated on the inside of the window frame, or outside mount, which means that the blinds are wider than the window frame. The dust cover valance is also a nice option, for those who do not want the metal hardware at the top of the blinds to show. While standard models come with a chain tilt and cord draw, it is also possible to order one with a wand tilt and draw. For those concerned about the position of the vanes, the optional bottom chains offer one way to keep them in line. There are six collections of fabric options to choose from, including a collection of blackout fabrics and one of designer fabrics, guaranteeing that they will fit into any room.

I ordered two sets of vertical blinds for my two sets of sliding glass doors. They initially sent me the wrong color but they admitted their mistake when I called them and provided them with a photo. I had to wait for the replacement blinds to arrive but when they did arrive, they were beautiful. I am very happy with the blinds but I do worry about the use of plastic in the hardware. Only time will tell about durability.
I would recommend these blinds to a friend.

We were worried about affordable window treatments for our new, very large window (132" wide), but felt we got a great deal even with the shipping surcharge. Installed quickly and easily, and the verticals look great. We appreciated the samples that helped us decide on a color, and the wide range of colors available. We were surprised that at night you can still see through the blinds (shapes, movement) from outside, but it may just be the material we ordered.
