Options Available for Comfortex™ Sliding Panels

		Inside Mount The blind is mounted inside the window frame; offers a tailored look, emphasizing the actual size of the window.  Any deductions will be made by the manufacturer.  Window casing should at least meet the minimum depth required to accommodate the brackets, or the flush mount depth to have the headrail fully recessed in the casing.  When selecting your size, enter the actual dimensions of your window casing.
		Outside Mount The blind is mounted on the wall or molding outside the window frame to cover an area larger than the window itself.  Outside mounted blinds are required if the window casing is not deep enough to accommodate the mounting brackets for an inside mount.  When selecting your size, enter the desired size of the blind itself - at least 1 1/2" of overlap on each side is recommended.
		Dust Cover Valance This nice valance covers the metal hardware and finishes out the blind.

Detailed Description for Comfortex™ Sliding Panels

Comfortex Sliding Panels can be used in combination with roman shades or roller shades. They are ideal for windows and offer both light control but some are also more effective with privacy control as well. These panels are typically made of materials such as linen, vinyl and polyester. There are many color choices within the various collections including the Classic Collection, Designer Screens Collection, Elements Collection, Linen Impressions Collection, Patina Collection, Polynesian Sands Collection, Poplar Leaf Collection, Sabbionetta Collection, Sahara Collection, South Pacific Stripe Collection, Standards Collection and Willow Screen Collection. One can even get free samples if he or she needs to see exact colors.

These panels can use either inside or outside mounts. One can also get a dust cover valance to cover the metal hardware and create consistency. The panels also have a few control options including cord control and wand control. In addition to examining the dimensions and specifications, one may look to the image gallery to see how the panels look within the home. The reviews section allows previous customers to leave feedback on the panels for others interested in them. The buyer can then choose his or her panels with the desired size and color.

Detailed Specifications of Comfortex™ Sliding Panels

Each Panel Track System Shade is available with an optional valance. The valance has a coordinating fabric insert and conceals the track system. The valance measures 3" high. You will receive a white or brushed aluminum valance with a matching fabric insert strip depending on the hardware color selected.

Please Note: Split stacks shades must have an even number of panels (4,6 or 8).

The standard panel overlap is 1 1/2"

Top Light Gap: Due to the nature of the panel track system, there will be 1/8" light gap between the mounting surface and the panel track. There is a 3/16" light gap between the track surface and top of the panel rail. Both of these gaps can be covered with the valance upgrade.

Bottom Light Gap: There will be a 1/2" light gap at the bottom of the hanging panels.

Side Gap: On a inside mount shade with wand control, there will be an 1" light gap on the non-control side and 1." gap on the control side of the shade. On a inside mount shade with cord control, there will be an 9/16" light gap on both the control and non-control side of the shade.

To avoid side light gaps on outside mount shades, Comfortex recommends increasing the ordered width by 5" (2 1/2" on each side).
