Roller Shades are available in many materials and colors or patterns, so you can match room decor and control lighting and heat as needed. Be sure to read below for limitations of roller shades and decide what is best for you.
We offer fabric roller shades that come in blackout, light filtering and translucent which means you can see shapes and colors through the material. The options we offer are numerous for roller shades.
The Cassette headrail and fascia valence are a nice addition to the shade. It covers up the roller mechanisms and finishes out the look. The cassette has fabric wrapped at the top that makes is more cozy while the fascia is aluminum and has a more industrial feel. Both are very nice.
We can order a few of our roller shades as a cordless meaning no cord. The cordless feature is not the same as what you will find at box stores but much more heavy duty allowing for a lifetime warranty. The corded bead chain is the control mechanism that comes standard for roller shades. It can be placed on the left or right side and has very little issues when it comes to durability and stamina.
Although not really advertised online, hems and hem pulls can be purchased for many of our roller shades. Just call if you are interested in that option.
Motorized or electric roller shades are about as good as it gets. We are only a few that offers both radio and infrared options when it comes to this feature. Size can go very wide depending on the fabric selected and your electrical capabilities.
For ALL roller blinds (sheers, roller shades, sunscreens or any blind that rolls up), the fabric is narrower than the roller. Think about it. The fabric has to roll on a tube. There is no place to put the mechanisms except at the ends of the roller. That's why the blind itself is actually wider than the fabric. It is industry standard to take the ENTIRE blind into consideration when making it. For rollers, this includes the mechanisms. The gap between the mechanisms and the fabric itself can be up to 1 1/2". Not huge for most people but it is big enough to post this here. For inside the window mounts, you don't have a choice on this so decide if the roller is the right window treatment for you. For outside the widow, you do have a choice. You can ADD to the width of the roller to make the fabric any size you want. For example, you need your fabric to be 35 inches wide. Simply add 1 1/2" to the width when you place your order. This includes the mechanisms and makes your fabric exactly at 35". This is easy so just call if you need help because we are not responsible for this.
In summary, for inside the window applications, you are going to have about a 3/4" sized gap on both of the sides. You don't have a choice. For outside the window measurements, add to the width of the blind if you need your fabric to be a certain width (1 1/2" wider is usually enough). Call if you need help.
These products are custom made for you. So, please be sure you understand what you are ordering. There are no returns or refunds for mismeasured items, wrong fabric or color selection - but we want to help you through all these decisions.
