Shades Shutters Blinds remote-control drive systems are noted for their good reliability, smart design and unique low power consumption. An extra remote can be ordered free of charge for orders of four or more blinds. Must request via phone or email at time of order.

Shades Shutters & Blinds provides basic motorization products from battery operated systems. Most come with standard 1 channel infrared remote options. We also have radio motors with 5 channel remote upgrade.

There are other motorization options on the market (total electrical applications including transformer boxes) like the transformer for home security system or your watering system. It is highly recommended that you have a professional install these options and we will only sell those systems under special circumstances such as pre-wiring in construction or by an actual electrician. Cellular (Honeycomb Shades)

Made of cellular construction. Infrared or Radio remote available. Hunter Douglas brand also provides the top down option. For cellular shades, we provide battery operated only. Shades Shutters Blinds Brand Cellular Shades

Shades Shutters Blinds brand cellular shades are infrared only. These battery operated blinds have and optional satelite eye. Comes with 8 AA batteries that need switching every three to four years.

Hunter Douglas remote controlled cellular shades are more expensive. However, I personally cannot find a better battery operated motorization system on the market. It is the exact same as the Shades Shutters Blinds brand with the infrared remote but, it also includes a five channel radio remote as well. By far the best bang for the buck.

Infrared battery remote. Tilt only. The advantage of this remote controlled blind besides the price is that the battery is lithium. It can last up to seven years without replacement.

Infrared and radio remote mixed into one. Batteries are in the headrail and not exposed.

Metal Blinds

Made of 6 gauge or 8 gauge aluminum slats. Tilt only manual lift required. 1/2", 1" or 2" slats available.

Shades Shutters Blinds Brand

Tilt only and infrared only. Lithium batteries can last up to seven years. Great value in motorization.

Remote Controlled (battery)- This tilt only option is great for hard to reach windows and is affordable! Lithium batteries can last up to seven years. Motor and battery hidden in headrail.

Hunter Douglas Brand

Infrared and five channel radio remote all in one. Great value.

Woven Woods

Not available in the Hunter Douglas brand. Shades Shutters Blinds brand only. Available with the 5 channel radio remote upgrade. Infrared is standard.
