Inside MountThe blind is mounted inside the window frame; offers a tailored look, emphasizing the actual size of the window. Any deductions will be made by the manufacturer. Window casing should at least meet the minimum depth required to accommodate the brackets, or the flush mount depth to have the headrail fully recessed in the casing. When selecting your size, enter the actual dimensions of your window casing. |

Outside MountThe blind is mounted on the wall or molding outside the window frame to cover an area larger than the window itself. Outside mounted blinds are required if the window casing is not deep enough to accommodate the mounting brackets for an inside mount. When selecting your size, enter the desired size of the blind itself - at least 1 1/2" of overlap on each side is recommended. |

2 Inch Custom Wood Blinds add an elegant, classic touch to any room. Made from slats of real wood, these blinds weigh about twenty percent less than their faux wood counterparts, and they look more natural as well. With an optional width of 7-96 inches and an optional height of 12-126 inches, these blinds come with up to five ladders and four cords, depending on their width. The feature contoured basswood slat material, a cord tilt control and a full warranty that covers natural discoloration.
As their name suggests 2 Inch Custom Wood Blinds are fully customizable to suit any room. The Veneto collection offers the added luxury of Italian wood colored with furniture-quality stains and paints, which bring out the natural beauty of the grain. The cotton tapes also come with a selection of fifteen colors, which can be matched to furniture or a carpet to create a harmonious whole room look. They come with either an inside or an outside mount and optional features can be added, such as a crown valance and routless connection. Blinds can be built to fit two on a single headrail, for maximum light control, and for those who have many blinds or groups of blinds, the five-channel remote control is a priceless tool.

We love our new blinds. At first we were a little worried that they were too dark (we got Rustic Java) but once we had them hung in the room they really balanced out. One issue with the construction on one of them but Shades Shutters Blinds went to the manufacturer for us and made them stand behind their work and got a new one ordered for us.

I am typically a customer of another popular online window treatment company, but after reading some impressive reviews from other customers, I decided to gamble, seeing as the cost was less than half of what the other company quoted me. I was beyond happy. I'm sure if you compared them side by side, with a more expensive brand, you might find the quality a tad bit less, but not enough to spend that much more. These stand alone on my windows and looked so good that I opted to remove the drapes. Very happy with the quality, cost, and the insurance that they offer if they don't fit.
