Options Available for 2 Inch Pleated Shades



		Inside Mount The blind is mounted inside the window frame; offers a tailored look, emphasizing the actual size of the window. Any deductions will be made by the manufacturer. Window casing should at least meet the minimum depth required to accommodate the brackets, or the flush mount depth to have the headrail fully recessed in the casing. When selecting your size, enter the actual dimensions of your window casing.
		Outside Mount The blind is mounted on the wall or molding outside the window frame to cover an area larger than the window itself. Outside mounted blinds are required if the window casing is not deep enough to accommodate the mounting brackets for an inside mount. When selecting your size, enter the desired size of the blind itself - at least 1 1/2" of overlap on each side is recommended.


		Standard Cordlock You pull a string to lift the blind up and down. Pull outwards to lock and inwards to release.


		Standard Cordlock Top Down/Bottom Up You have two strings. One to lift it up and down like a normal shades and one on the other side to drop the shade down from the top. Our most popular upgrade.


		2 on 1 Headrail These are two working blinds on one common headrail. They are designed for large windows. You can get the standard cordlock controls or the continuous cord loop. Other options are not available. Call for pricing.

The 2 Inch Pleated Shades look wonderful on large windows. They add a touch of sophistication to the room. One can choose to mount the shades on the inside or the outside of the window frame. The shades are available in excellent quality fabrics including linen and poplin, and in numerous colors. You can select the shades according to the predominant color scheme in the room and its upholstery. Request for color swatches before you are ready to order your shades.

The 2 Inch Pleated Shades use a standard cord lock to move the shades and lock them in place. This makes it easy and convenient to raise and lower the shades. One can opt to use two shades on a common head rail. They come with individual cord lock mechanisms that allow them to be used independently.

The fact that the shades can be moved from the bottom up, or can drop down from the top, makes this style very popular. This feature of the 2 Inch Pleated Shades offers versatile use. You can choose to bring down the shade from the top and lift it up from the bottom. This would bring in natural light from the outdoors, and yet, maintain the privacy offered to the room.
