Inside MountThe blind is mounted inside the window frame; offers a tailored look, emphasizing the actual size of the window. Any deductions will be made by the manufacturer. Window casing should at least meet the minimum depth required to accommodate the brackets, or the flush mount depth to have the headrail fully recessed in the casing. When selecting your size, enter the actual dimensions of your window casing. | |

Outside MountThe blind is mounted on the wall or molding outside the window frame to cover an area larger than the window itself. Outside mounted blinds are required if the window casing is not deep enough to accommodate the mounting brackets for an inside mount. When selecting your size, enter the desired size of the blind itself - at least 1 1/2" of overlap on each side is recommended. | |

While we all love the summer sun, as with anything, too much of it can be a bad thing. This is even the case inside of the home. While the amount of sunlight coming into your home may not be enough to contribute to skin cancer or the like, it can be enough to damage furniture or cause a greenhouse effect that can substantially increase the cost of cooling your home when it is hot outside.
As a function of this, regulating the amount of sunlight your home receives through light filtering shades is a great option, but for those who have mobility issues or windows in hard-to-reach places, open and closing them could prove to be difficult.
To this end, light filtering motorized cellular shades- radio can be exceedingly useful. These shades allow the owner all of the shade, privacy, summer-cooling, and winter-insulating attributes as regular cellular shades, but with the added convenience, of not having to worry about reaching difficult places, stopping what you are doing or even getting out of your seat to close them. With a motorized head rail that is controlled by an infrared remote, these shades can be opened and closed with the push of a button. Although the battery compartment is hidden from view, they is also extremely accessible, making batter changes a snap as well.

The customer service is top notch. We were delivered the wrong blind, and with just a short phone call we were able to resolve the issue. A new blind was sent to us and all is well! The only thing I was discouraged about is that I couldn't mount the shade from the sides however, that may have been an option that I didn't know about.

I have to admit I was hesitant to order an expensive blind such as this from the internet but I couldn't be any happier. I saved $250 ordering online and installing it myself compared to a quote I had from a local blind company. My blind was very large and was being installed above my foyer that can only be reached by a ladder. The blind was packaged very well, extremely easy to install and was a perfect fit. My only negative was there were no instructions on how to program the blind with the remote. I guess they expected me to figure it out for myself. After hours of trying, I gave up and called the company the following day. Fortunately for me I was able to speak with a very nice and polite representative by the name of Amanda White that had my programming problem resolved in 2 minutes, Thanks Amanda. I am so impressed by it I show it off when company comes over. The design is simple but as long as it holds up I am extremely happy.

These shades were extremely easy to install. I purchased one motorized shade (bamboo color) for each of my two kitchen windows and they work wonderfully. The shades still allow light into the room when they are closed (who wants a dark kitchen?) It took a bit to figure out the instructions for programming but I eventually managed. Now, with the press of one button, both shades automatically open midway and when dusk falls, a one button push closes them. So convienent! Can't wait to get one for my dinning room soon as I save enough money...

I just purchased blinds for 4 rooms. They are all motorized and fun to use. Extremely easy to hang and look wonderful. However, I did also receive a matching Arched blind / I would not recommend these for poor design and instructions. Not worth the cost at all.

Have only had the product for a few days. Blind works well and motor is super quiet. Installed quickly and easily. Wish I would have ordered the extension brackets for an outside window mount. That being said, we put small piece of wood behind the brackets on the wall...problem solved. Only complaint about the blind is that the head rail is a different color than the blind.

Easy to install. Easy to paint the base to match. Kids love to make them go up and down. Only complaint is that it doesn't retract all the way all of the time... although I may be doing something wrong.
