Inside MountThe blind is mounted inside the window frame; offers a tailored look, emphasizing the actual size of the window. Any deductions will be made by the manufacturer. Window casing should at least meet the minimum depth required to accommodate the brackets, or the flush mount depth to have the headrail fully recessed in the casing. When selecting your size, enter the actual dimensions of your window casing. | |

Outside MountThe blind is mounted on the wall or molding outside the window frame to cover an area larger than the window itself. Outside mounted blinds are required if the window casing is not deep enough to accommodate the mounting brackets for an inside mount. When selecting your size, enter the desired size of the blind itself - at least 1 1/2" of overlap on each side is recommended. | |

The decision to install 2 1/2 inch faux wood blinds is not only a decision that will enhance your home's appearance, but it is also very practical. This gives them the added advantage over all wood blinds of being waterproof, extra durable and very easy to clean and maintain.
Faux wood blinds go very well in bathrooms, kid's rooms and any areas where you want to control the light that enters the room. They can be cleaned with little more than a wet rag and they are also so well made that they will last for years and years.
These window coverings can either be mounted on the inside of the window casing, or, if the casing is too shallow, an exterior mount is an option. Colors are available to blend with any decor.

The ordering site did not mention that if you order two blinds on a single headrail, the tilt controls are still separate so there is no real advantage to having the single headrail. Also, there are 18 visible strings on one window which looks terrible. The number of strings per blind is also NOT spelled out in the description. The company will not return the blinds that do not fit the picture or description on the ordering site.

These were cut perfectly and easy to install. I purchased them with the "routless" design, which was nice for privacy because there are no holes for the strings / the strings just fit into grooves along the blinds. Very nice and much more affordable than the local big box stores.

We had gotten custom blinds priced out by a custom dealer that would give us a hefty discount through a warehouse deal, and the price was decent that way, but we wanted to see if we could save money on it. I found this website, and was able to upgrade my blinds and get more than planned for a third of the cost! AND, we thought we might have to hire someone to install, but my husband and I were able to handle that ourselves// which speaks to the ease of the installation because we are NOT handy people!! A power screwdriver helped tons!! The blinds look GREAT!! They added so much to our home!

My blinds look great. The price was right. The only slight problem I had was that the valances should have been cut about 2" longer. 5 of the 7 blinds I purchased are installed on a bay window. The valances were too short for the width of my windows and you could see the blind brackets if you look at them from the side. I called[...] to see if I could get new valances cut just a little bit longer and they were shipped to me in a few days from the manufacturer. My windows now look perfect.
