House shutters are one of the most popular and traditional window treatments on the market. It is one of the few window treatments to actually add value to your home. Although there are several types of house shutters on the market, we provide the most traditional plantation shutter. The plantation home shutter has stood the test of time. It compromises a solid frame, elliptical louvers (slats shapes like an airplane wing), single or multiple panels (doors) attached by hinges, and a solid tilt bar that moves the louvers.

The three types of house plantation shutters we provide are the faux wood shutters, composite shutters and the real wood shutters. Each is made with the same, traditional, plantation style.

Faux Wood Shutters are our most affordable home shutter. They are made of 100% vinyl and are known for their durability, That can handle abuse and all parts are changeable without having to send the shutter back for repair. These work great for garages, kids rooms and high moister areas (they are water proof).

Composite shutters are a wood and PVC mix. They are our most popular because they have the look and feel of real wood but are less expensive. They are a solid, thick shutter with a 25 year warranty.

The last house plantation shutter we provide is made of real wood. They are a classic, thick, natural and light. These are very common for odd shaped openings and areas where a stain is needed. Real wood comes with all the natural grains and imperfections you can't find in the other two types of shutters.
