Shades Shutters Blinds has been selling blinds for over 10 years.
All the blinds that shades shutters Blinds offers are made from scratch. This
allows us to provide outstanding lifetime warranties because of the superior
high quality of our shades. Our custom shade
and custom blinds are made to the nearest 1/8th of an inch in width and height and
are tested for over 800 hours of exposure. This allows our manufacturer to
offer a lifetime warranty against warpage and discoloration. This warranty
alone is worth the extra amount paid verses the cheap cut down blinds found at
most box stores for only a slightly higher price.
Our cellular or honeycomb shades are also custom blinds made to last a
lifetime. The lifetime warranty for these custom window blinds not only covers the mechanisms but also
covers cell separation which is huge for this product. Cell separation is
not so rare for the pre-made cut down blinds found at the box stores.
Woven
wood custom blinds are all the rage. There are basically two types of window
treatments out there
for natural wood blinds. First is the cheap cut downs that you find at the
box stores. They are made of plastic or inexpensive bamboo grasses.
These have no warranty and do not last more than a couple of years. Shades
Shutters Blinds custom blinds wovens are better quality, cut to the nearest
1/8th of an inch and have a lifetime warranty that basically covers everything
except warpage or color change. We can also put a backing on this blind
and offer several options such as motorization. The custom blinds are made
to last year in and year out and the quality does not go out of style.
Shutters need to be custom because of the price and the nature of the
product. Again, you can purchase the 1" pre-made shutters but they do not
have the look or quality of a true plantation
shutter. Plantation Shutters add value to you home and are not just a
typical custom blind.
Our wooden blinds are also made from scratch. They are one of the few items
covered under a lifetime warranty against warpage which is a big plus for wood
blinds. You can get them motorized with the tilt only option, with the
classic one inch tapes or the popular no holes or de-light feature. You
cannot find these with the non custom blinds found at the box stores.
The last true that we have that offer a lifetime warranty is
the classic one
inch metal blind or mini blind. The box stores are made of plastic and
fit only certain size window coverings. The life span of one of these is around two
through three years. Our metal custom blinds are made of 100% aluminum and
are cut to the nearest 1/8th of an inch. The warranty includes everything
except bending of the slats. That being said, you can replace the bent
slats to last basically year in and year out.
