Most of our shades and many of our blinds can be made with the no cords options.
For the cellular/honeycomb shades and some roman shades, you have a handle at the bottom that you simply pull up and down to raise or lower the shade. If you are able to reach the top of the shade, opt for an additional feature of the top down, bottom up. You simply have a handle at the bottom like normal and another at the top to drop the cellular or roman shade. This is a very convenient and have a slick modern look.
For the roller and sunscreen shades the cordless option is the spring loaded sort. it is not those flimsy off-the-shelf ones you find at some super stores but a high quality, easy to use option that is not like the ones you used to have to constantly adjust like in the old days. These cordless shades carry a lifetime warranty.
For blinds, we only have one cordless option. You still have the cords to tilt the blind which will always be on the left side of the shade. You then have the same handle to lift it up and down like a shade. For the best use of lifting this up and down, keep the slats in the open position.
The no cord shades are approved by the child safety council and recommended by most major manufacturers for child safety.
