Two new Comfortex color lines

We just added two new color lines in the Comfortex “sunscreens”. First is the Silver Screens II. Five new colors with that cool aluminum backing that gives this sunscreen the best reflective value on the market. The second group is called the Designer Screens in the Envisions collection. The Designer Screens are made of 100% polyester and have some of the nicest see-through fabrics out there. Another Comfortex first. Both lines are a 5% openness factor which is the most popular for the sunscreens.

One of our major suppliers (Prestige Window Fashions) just came out with a new line of sunscreen roller shades. Pricing is around 30% less than the standard solar shades. Openness factors range from 1% to 15%. These are priced to sell so the limitations are: continuous cord loop only, 92″ is the maximum width and no options such as motorization or cassette valances are available. There are around 36 colors and textures to choose from. This is an excellent bargain and great prices with the same limited lifetime warranty as all of our products. Sunscreen roller shades are one of the newest blinds on the market. These are the shades that look like thick window screens where you can see through. They are made of the same material as the modern outdoor furniture. These solar shades block out around 98% of the harmful UV rays and are quite energy efficient. They save furniture and carpet from harmful UV rays caused by the sun. The one disadvantage with this popular product is that a night, when your lights are on and it is dark outside, people can see in and you cannot see out. It is just the opposite in the day time. That is why you see these in banks and restaurants. So, if privacy is an issue, this product is not for you. We just came out with some marvelous new colors and styles. Each is broken down by openness factors. The openness is the amount you can see through. The most common openness is the 5% and 10% which serves most purposes. We are going to add Comfortex cellular shades with all the prints and blackout materials they have to offer. That should close the gap on products that people request but we do not have. I also posted some new pages to the site that you can check out.

We are going to be pushing Solar Shades or sunscreens. This is the fabric you can see through. You often see this in banks and restaurants. Pricng will be very competitive and the fabrics come from Hunter Douglas and Phifer screen shades.

Applause honeycomb shades by Hunter Douglas are becoming more and more popular as the cost of the Duette continues to rise. Check out the Applause cell shades online or you can check them out at the Depot or Lowes.

The Hunter Douglas Brilliance Pleated shades have come with the new motorization feature that is both radio remote and infared remote combined into one. Hunter Douglas Brilliance also has several new fabric lines such as the Haberdasher and Rain Forest. Please be aware that the Brilliance motorized blinds cannot be made with the backing. It must be the original fabric only.
