Hunter This must be roller shade month. Three different manufactures premier new roller shade collections. There seems to be a surge in popularity for this old but proven style window treatment. We seem to sell more and more every month. The new colors and fabrics can be viewed on the web site. Hunter Douglas retired their Remembrance line and replaced it with their new Comfortex replaced their Serenade roller shades with the new Prestige did not name or rename their new products; they just extended and updated the fabric selections for

I hope everyone had a very nice holiday and a safe New Years. My goal this year is to actually work out more than once per year. I used to bike everyday and that worked great but this business is pretty much my full time position. Anyways, there is not a lot of promotions this month mainly because our other suppliers (besides Hunter Douglas) haven’t sent the promos yet. All of our suppliers either send monthly promos for the whole year of for the quarter but our blinds reps are probably on vacation
The Woven Wood free top down, bottom up was a huge success late month and I have been asking them to extend this but haven’t heard back. For Jan and Feb, Hunter Douglas is offering a $25 rebate (up to four blinds) for all Duette Architella. This is good only for our Colorado customers. Hunter Douglas will not let us sell this anywhere else.
What they will allows is free Ultraglide upgrade for all Duette. The price shows up automatically so there is no stupid promo codes or rebate forms.

December SalesFriday, November 30th, 2007We are having a December sale extravaganza on bamboo blinds. 10% off on all Rio Woven Woods. Prestige woven wood blinds have a 1 cent Top Down, Bottom Up. Sheer blinds are still $15 per shade and all the Hunter Douglas honeycomb shades have 1 cent top down, bottom up until December 15th. November PromosFriday, November 2nd, 2007There was change to or promos for November. Our top down, bottom up “free” sale is now a 1 cent upgrade. It is easier for us for our backend system and accounting. Some of our suppliers (Hunter Douglas) mainly splits the cost with us so we eat half and they eat half. Other manufactures will eat the whole cost. We had three manufactures providing this sale at the same time and in order to make all even, it was much easier to to the 1 cent sale. So, 1 cent for all top down bottom up’s. We will also be offering a free literise upgrade for all Hunter Douglas Duettes up until December 15th. I won’t advertise this until next week when I get some time. October SalesWednesday, October 3rd, 2007October sales include: $15 off on all 2″ and 3″ horizontal sheers New Hunter Douglas PromosFriday, September 7th, 2007Hunter Douglas had great success on the last rebate “Summer Sale” promo and are kicking off a new one starting September 25th. Rebates will include $100 per unit on Skyline Gliding Window Shades, $100 off per unit for Luminette Privacy sheers. Other rebates are going to be: $50 off per unit on Silhouette Window Shadings Look for posting on our Fall Sale banner later this month. Hunter Douglas has been making major changes lately. They just came out with Top Down, Bottom Up Vignettes and Motorized Vignettes. Hunter Douglas also has a totally new Country Wood deck and Everwood deck with much more selection on the stained colors. We are kicking this line off with a sale. The Duette line has increased once again with the Elan Architella line and the Ariosa cell line. The best and newest thing Hunter Douglas just introduced is the totally new motorized blinds. It is infared with a typical point and click and also includes a 5 channel radio remote! The pricing is not much more expensive that the old motors but is much, much more user friendly. In the Hunter Douglas Desinger Screen series, they added the Greenscape fabrics. They provide a much better view. For the generic woven woods Rio Collection, 23 new styles and colors to choose from. We are having a sale to promote this. Lastly, we are having a 1 cent top down, bottom up sale on all of our honeycomb shades. For the internet side of the business we are making some major changes on our linking strategy that will benefit all. We will now offer a reciprical link exchange via directory to those sites related and interested in linking with us. This should be up and running by the end of the month. November 2006Monday, October 30th, 2006Sale. Hunter Douglas Country Woods with Tapes. $5 off per blind. Many changes this month. We are still working on the website to make it new and updated. Our goal is to have around 70% of the site done by the end of the month. Changes made this month are Arches, Cellular shades, Fauxwood Blinds, Wood Blinds. Added tons of pictures to each catagory. This will make it easier for navigation and explantion of our products. Organized our images files. Organized our regular pages. Optimizing each page with new titles, metas and descriptions to further break down each page. Redoing site map. Redo all specifications and installation instructions including PDF formating. This will now be a truer pciture of all the specs. Made the specifications page a summary only. Leaving out the non important pictures and jargons for products that we do not offer. For installation, broke down each page for detailed install instructions for each particulat product in that catagory.
