We just added a bunch of new colors to our real wood blind selection at much better pricing. For our 2″ basswood blinds we added 21 new colors in the standard basswood blinds. We also added 8 new furniture quality distressed wood colors. These are high quality and the stains are incredible. Our 2 1/2″ wood blinds offer a better view and comes in 5 colors. It is a flat slat.

According to Prestige, the manufacture of this product, “Please be advised that due to manufacturing issues, the fabrics are being discontinued and will be removed from the system. It is unfortunate however, repeated attempts by the supplier to remedy the issues associated with the use of this fabric in the manufacturing process left us with no alternative but to take them out of the collection.” Basically too hard to make without mess-ups. They will continued making this product until all resources are used up so if you have an order out for these materials, they will still be made.

Prestige Blinds has been having some back order issues and I finally managed to get a full list. It looks long but it isn’t that much out of the thousands of colors and fabrics they provide. First type, color name and then material arrival time. Hope this helps and if you are on this list, we will do whatever you want and we totally understand.

New Woven Wood Fabrics

We just added 10 new fabric selections to our Prestige Bamboo Blind Collection. All can be found at Prestige Woven Woods Group 2. Fabrics are: Glendale, Mt. Prospect, Drexel Hill, Barrington, Ballantyne, Arlington, Avondale and Sunset Cliffs. All are priced in the medium category except the Avondale which is in the least expensive category. Nice fabrics at a nice cost.

Woven Wood Backorders

Two of our suppliers are having trouble getting stock for the woven woods. Prestige Collection Belltown and Manaca Cocoa is on backorder until 6-15-08 and in the Rio Collection colors: 68-Tapera, 34-Galvez, 22-Vitoria, 24-Socorro Gold, 11- Franca Natural, 28-Lorena Pine, 31-Monte Carmelo are due in first of July. We totally understand the inconvenience and will be glad to refund your order, continue to wait or switch fabrics. Unfortuantely, we have no control of this and are trying to inform each one of our customers that have placed an order for these fabrics. If we missed you, please call or email use and let us know what you want to do.

Discontinued Colors

Prestige has discontinued six colors in their fabric vertical line and one color in their roller shade collection. For the fabric verticals, Itaca White IT1031, Itaca Vanilla IT1082, Itaca Sandbar IT1013, Linen White LE130, Linen Natural LE230 and finally Lattice White LA450. The Prestige Insignia Roller Shade Collection color Lattice White LA450 has also been discontinued. To see all of our Insignia roller shades, click here.

The stock on these fabrics have been depleted and no more are available.

Discontinued Band Edging

Band edging for the Prestige Woven Woods and The Woven Wood Sliding panels.
Discontinued fabrics are: Canvas Bordeaux EB300, Canvas Parchment EB402 and Aspen Straw EB320. They will not be renewed once the stock is out. Please call if you want these fabrics so we can see if Prestige has enough left to fill order.
