Fabric Separation & Tearing for Cellular Shades

Most cellular shades are either glued or heat treated or both. All of our cellular shades have a lifetime warranty against fabric separation and a remake is usually as easy as sending a picture over. Here is a picture of a job where the customers string snapped and the blind separated. You can tell this is the case because it does tear at the fuse. If this happens to you, simply call and let us know. Although rare, it does seem to happen a couple of times per year.

This must be roller shade month. Three different manufactures premier new roller shade collections. There seems to be a surge in popularity for this old but proven style window treatment. We seem to sell more and more every month. The new colors and fabrics can be viewed on the web site.

Hunter Douglas retired their Remembrance line and replaced it with their new
Designer Roller Shades collection. There are lots of new colors and bottom rail treatments.

Comfortex replaced their Serenade roller shades with the new
Envisions series. Again tons of new colors and fabrics to choose from.

Prestige did not name or rename their new products; they just extended and updated the fabric selections for
roller shades,
roller sunscreens, flat panel Romans, and
sliding panels.

January 2008 Promos for Shades Shutters Blinds

I hope everyone had a very nice holiday and a safe New Years. My goal this year is to actually work out more than once per year. I used to bike everyday and that worked great but this business is pretty much my full time position. Anyways, there is not a lot of promotions this month mainly because our other suppliers (besides Hunter Douglas) haven’t sent the promos yet. All of our suppliers either send monthly promos for the whole year of for the quarter but our blinds reps are probably on vacation

The Woven Wood free top down, bottom up was a huge success late month and I have been asking them to extend this but haven’t heard back. For Jan and Feb, Hunter Douglas is offering a $25 rebate (up to four blinds) for all Duette Architella. This is good only for our Colorado customers. Hunter Douglas will not let us sell this anywhere else.

What they will allows is free Ultraglide upgrade for all Duette. The price shows up automatically so there is no stupid promo codes or rebate forms.

November Promos

There was change to or promos for November. Our top down, bottom up “free” sale is now a 1 cent upgrade. It is easier for us for our backend system and accounting. Some of our suppliers (Hunter Douglas) mainly splits the cost with us so we eat half and they eat half. Other manufactures will eat the whole cost. We had three manufactures providing this sale at the same time and in order to make all even, it was much easier to to the 1 cent sale. So, 1 cent for all top down bottom up’s. We will also be offering a free literise upgrade for all Hunter Douglas Duettes up until December 15th. I won’t advertise this until next week when I get some time.
