On the right hand side of the shade, there is a reset button. It really is just a hole big enough to insert a paperclip. Push the button in and wait until it jogs three times. That just resets the motor and you can take the paperclip out. Second, use your remote control to set the limits on the blind. Measure twice, drill once - Before you pull out the power tools and start at the wall, make sure everything is properly measured.  Is the wall large enough to accommodate the blinds you are about to install?  Do the blinds cover the full width of the window?  Measure these things first.  Once you’ve checked this, measure out and mark exactly where you want the holes for the bolts.  Make sure they are properly spaced and even before going on to step two.

Tool time - Now you can play with that power drill you got out earlier.  Using the drill bit required by the blinds instructions, make a hole at the two spots you marked on the wall.  Be sure to drill the holes deep enough that your support bolts will fit securely.

Assembly - Once you have the bolts securely mounted in the wall, it’s time to assemble the rest of the kit.  Start with the blind support.  Make sure this hangs well and is sturdy enough to handle the weight your about to put on it.  Once you know the support system is sound you can begin to hang the blinds.  Make sure that you either plug them into the nearest socket or install the proper batteries when you are done.

Moment of Truth – The blinds are up, and now comes the moment you get to see if it all worked out properly.  You are going to want to test the blinds to be sure they open and close completely.  If your test goes smoothly, congratulations, you’re done!
