Still working on the site design the new layout should be done by the end of the first week in April. The backend stuff is slow go but we are almost there. Changes to be made are: easier navigation, new fresh look, easyier sample requests, easier viewing of pages.

Most of the back end stuff is complete. We now offer room locations to make it easier for the customer to lay out their blinds. The new site cahnges are coming along very slowly. So far we have done most of the top and bottom navigation, cellular blinds, metal blinds, precious metals, applause and brilliance. [...]

Currently doing remote database and SQL Server changes. We will be switch from Access to SQL over the next few weeks utilizing our database with a new shopping cart with total remote access and backup. Changes should be made by mid May. THis allows easier tracking, ordering and backend changes that Access currently cannot provide. [...]

Automated ordering system. Ordering system now determines Manufacturer automatically. We still manually check orders before sending them in. Bugs to be worked out are: Automated shipping information is now manually done. Estimated ship date was changed from process to “in production” with an estimated ship date posted.
