Inside MountThe blind is mounted inside the window frame; offers a tailored look, emphasizing the actual size of the window. Any deductions will be made by the manufacturer. Window casing should at least meet the minimum depth required to accommodate the brackets, or the flush mount depth to have the headrail fully recessed in the casing. Outside MountThe blind is mounted on the wall or molding outside the window frame to cover an area larger than the window itself. Outside mounted blinds are required if the window casing is not deep enough to accommodate the mounting brackets for an inside mount. The Blackout Roller Shades from this company are made with very durable fabric. They have a continuous cord loop system, which is designed to last a long time. There are many black, white, and gray fabrics available, and some fabrics have a brown, blue, or gold tint. Some designs have a flat texture, while others have patterns that are more distinct. Mounting options include a standard roll, cassette headrail, fascia valance, and a reverse roll. Remote controls are another option.

Not happy, put special instructions on as I was told when I called and shade came wrong. I have not received my new one yet. Customer service took one whole day to get back to me on the remake. Brackets were different and roller was huge and not the small kind.

Overall I love my shade. Recently there have been a couple times when the rolling mechanism (where the chain runs around a spool) has slipped. But overall it seems well made, just have to be careful when rolling up not to pull too hard.

I wanted quality, attractive blackout roller shades but did not have a big budget, and I was very pleased with the shades that I ordered. They arrived on time, were easy to install, and finally gave me some much/needed privacy and light control! They will be great during the summer, too, when they will help keep the strong light (and heat) out of the apartment. I'd definitely use Shades Shutters Blinds for my next shade order.
