Shades Shutters Blinds remote-control drive systems are noted for their good reliability, smart design and unique low power consumption. An extra remote can be ordered free of charge for orders of four or more blinds. Must request via phone or email at time of order.

Shades Shutters & Blinds provides basic motorization products from battery operated systems.  Most come with standard 1 channel infrared remote options. We also have radio motors with 5 channel remote upgrade.

It is highly recommended that you have a professional install these options and we will only sell those systems under special circumstances such as pre-wiring in construction or by an actual electrician. Shades Shutters Blinds Brand Cellular Shades

Shades Shutters Blinds brand cellular shades are infrared only.  These battery operated blinds have and optional satelite eye.  Comes with 8 AA batteries that need switching every three to four years.

Hunter Douglas Brand Cellular Shades

Hunter Douglas™ remote controlled (Platinum Technology™) cellular shades are more expensive.  However, I personally cannot find a better battery operated motorization system on the market.  This is a new technology with a four channel radio and infrared combination. Works in any room. An optional wall timer is available upon request. This option can be chosen on Step 2 of checkout.

Infrared battery remote.  Tilt only.  The advantage of this remote controlled blind besides the price is that the battery is lithium.  It can last up to seven years without replacement.

Infrared and radio remote mixed into one.  Batteries are in the headrail and not exposed.
