Blinds made in the USA we offerOver the years we have been asked over two hundred times what products are American made blinds. Below is a list of our window coverings that are manufactured 100% in the USA. We cannot guarantee that all the components that go into the window treatments are American made because we do not know for each and every one. Another thing to consider is that some of the suppliers headquarters are not in the USA. For instance, Hunter Douglas (who knew?) is a Dutch company. However, we will guarantee that the products listed below are totally made from scratch at factories located all over the United States, made by Americans. You will find that most of these are the same price or actually less than some of the shades made over seas. We have worked very hard to negotiate prices with these factories and over the years we know most of the owners, managers and even employees of these US manufacturing plants. I actually worked for a couple over the years. All of these products carry a lifetime warranty and are of the highest quality. If given the choice between an American blinds company verses and overseas one, I think most will choose the American one especially if it is the same price, lower, or even slightly higher. I know I would (and do). Most of our products are made right here in the USA so I think it will be easier to point out what blinds are not made here. We choose to include the woven woods also to this list because although it is assembled here, most of the construction is made over seas. We also included the VinylBilt Shutters because all of the extrusion process is in Canada. Thank you. All of our honeycomb shades are made here. They come from Timber (McKinney, Texas), Hunter Douglas (Upper Saddle River, New Jersey), Gulf Coast (Hunter Douglas fabricator) (Houston, Texas) or Comfortex Window Fashions (Maplewood, New York)
All but three of our faux woods are made here. They come from Timber (McKinney, Texas), Hunter Douglas (Upper Saddle River, New Jersey), Gulf Coast (Hunter Douglas fabricator) (Houston, Texas) or Comfortex Window Fashions (Maplewood, New York). The ones that are not made here are the Value 2" Faux Woods, Value 2 1/2" Faux Woods and the 2" Value Composites. They are like the cut downs at Home Depot or Lowes and pre-made in China.
Metals All of our metals are made here. Hunter Douglas (Upper Saddle River, New Jersey), Gulf Coast (Hunter Douglas fabricator) (Houston, Texas) and Prestige Window Fashions (Edison, New Jersey)
All of our pleated shades are made here. Hunter Douglas (Upper Saddle River, New Jersey), Gulf Coast (Hunter Douglas fabricator) (Houston, Texas) and Prestige Window Fashions (Edison, New Jersey)
All of our roller shades are made here. Hunter Douglas (Upper Saddle River, New Jersey), Gulf Coast (Hunter Douglas fabricator) (Houston, Texas) and Prestige Window Fashions (Edison, New Jersey)
Roman Shades All but one of our roman shades are made here. They come from Hunter Douglas (Upper Saddle River, New Jersey), Gulf Coast (Hunter Douglas fabricator) (Houston, Texas), Comfortex Window Fashions (Maplewood, New York) and and Prestige Window Fashions (Edison, New Jersey). The ones that are not made here are the Toscana Roman Shades.
All of our sheer shades are made here. Hunter Douglas (Upper Saddle River, New Jersey), Gulf Coast (Hunter Douglas fabricator) (Houston, Texas) and Comfortex Window Fashions (Maplewood, New York)
Only one of our plantation shutters is totally produced here. That is the Comfortex Woodwinds Shutters.
All are made by Prestige Window Fashion (Edison, New Jersey) but we chose not to include the Woven Woods because most the fabric is strung over seas.
Verticals All of our verticals are made here. Hunter Douglas (Upper Saddle River, New Jersey), Gulf Coast (Hunter Douglas fabricator) (Houston, Texas) and Prestige Window Fashions (Edison, New Jersey)
Real Woods All but two of our real woods are made here. They come from Timber (McKinney, Texas), Hunter Douglas (Upper Saddle River, New Jersey), Gulf Coast (Hunter Douglas fabricator) (Houston, Texas). The ones that are not made here are the Value 2" Woods and the Value 2 1/2" Woods. They are like the cut downs at Home Depot or Lowes and pre-made in China.
